We generally seek majority to full ownership in private companies.  Opportunities typically include: a founder seeking liquidity from his or her business for estate purposes; a company owned by another financial buyer looking for a realization on an investment; or a larger corporation divesting a business line or segment.

Under the right circumstances, ACN may team with other like-minded investors to structure large-scale transactions and may take less than a majority ownership position. Such co-investments are limited to situations in which we and our investing partners discern a clear opportunity to leverage the ACN Network’s resources for greater returns. Our intent is to retain effective control over portfolio company operations.
