Our Managing Directors have personally pledged a significant portion of the fund’s capital and recruited the ACN Network from their business and personal relationships developed over the past 30+ years.

Economic incentives are tightly aligned between the Fund and Portfolio Company executives. We expect management teams to retain a significant financial stake in their companies to ensure that our financial objectives are compatible.

Our Partners work closely with management of portfolio companies to deliver significant and sustainable business improvements. We work with management up-front on a “value creation” plan and provide expertise and support as needed to execute the plan.

Examples include:

  • Identifying ACN network resources to support geographic expansion from a regional to a national company
  • Building advanced supply chain capabilities to remove excess working capital while improving customer service
  • Implementing IT platforms needed to support operation as an independent company after divestiture from a corporate parent.

Compensation incentives are outcome-based and motivate project teams and portfolio company management to be “on the same team” and deliver the intended results. Each investment is structured on its own to allow active partners who contribute to its success to participate in the profits.
